“Henry's Taiwan Kitchen had me feelin' like I was tucked away in a more-quiet-than-normal hole-in-the-wall restaurant in Taiwan itself.”
“Was so happy to find this place. And only four blocks from my work! Not bad at all.
I was aiming to try the Thai place down the street, but it was jam packed and I was on a tight lunch break. Wandered by this place on accident and decided to take a chance (without even checking the reviews! what a badass!).
I got the wonton soup (the second one on the list of wonton soups) and it was fabulous. Scorching hot, which I loved- hard to find scorching hot soup in Americanized places usually. There I was, sippin' away at my ridiculously authentic meal while listening to the sweet emo tunes of Jay Chou, feelin' like I was tucked away in a more-quiet-than-normal hole-in-the-wall restaurant in Taiwan itself.”
